The planet earth today is in great danger with large amount of pollution released in its environment which is not only harming the environment but also causing a great threat to the human beings also both economically and physically. Therefore every effort should be made to use renewable source of energy. Renewable sources of energy are environment friendly.

1. Wave energy: Wave energy is the energy of ocean waves produced in the ocean’s surface. These waves could be harness to use for useful works for example electricity generation, pumping the water into reservoirs and water desalination. These waves are could be difficult to harness due to the unpredictability and direction of waves. Wave farms have been set up in many European countries to produce and harness the energy using floating Pelamis Wave Energy converters. Wave power systems mostly include the use of a floating buoyed device and generate energy via a snaking motion, or by mechanical movement from the wave peaks and troughs. Wave power is completely different and often co-mingled, with diurnal flux of tidal power and the steady gyre of ocean currents.

2. Solar Energy:  Photovoltaic (PV) solar is fast becoming a common for harnessing the solar energy to produce the energy. Solar cells are now commonly used to produce energy to generate electricity. Solar cell plates are easy in installation, transferable and economical too. In recent years you can see solar cells being implanted in residential area because of the government initiative to make green energy more viable economical option.

3. Wind energy:  wind power is the process of harnessing wind energy through wind turbine to produce electricity and for mechanical use also. Wind power is mostly used to provide electricity in isolated areas through small wind turbines. Historically wind power is mostly been used for in ships and for pumping water from ground by converting in mechanical energy. Wind power is mostly used for producing electricity, in recent years it has doubled with greater share in producing the electricity.

4. Bio Mass: The production of Biomass is a growing industry due the interest in use of sustainable fuel sources. The biomass industry uses the raw material mainly plant or agricultural waste for the production of energy.

5. Hydroelectricity: Production of electricity through hydropower that is electricity generated by the gravitational force of falling or flowing of water. It is considered the renewable source of energy with no waste produce. Hydropower can be used to produce the electricity for public use or only for running of specific industry.

6. Geothermal: This is one of the best and efficient way take out a renewable source of energy from the earth by using natural process. Geo thermal power is environment friendly, economical and had been limited geographically to tectonic plate boundaries.

7. CNG: Though it is a fossil fuel and it does produce green house gases but it is more environment friendly than petroleum and gasoline. CNG has now heavily been used in light trucks and autos and cars. Italy has the largest number of vehicle which is being run on CNG and currently the 4th in the world in the production of CNG powdered vehicle.

8. Tidal Power: Tidal energy can be used to produces energy through the moving of turbines which is caused by the power of tides. It is environment friendly.

9. Nuclear energy: Production of electricity is done through the nuclear fission and in future the other method could be nuclear fusion and radioactive decay. The nuclear energy accounts 14% of the world total electricity with 56.5% of nuclear generation of electricity is coming from Japan, France and US.

10. Radiant Energy: This form of natural energy is most cost efficient and can perform the same function as ordinary electricity with less than 1% of cost.

Jay Khodiyar Machine Tools is a reputed manufacturer and supplier of briquetting machines in pan India. These machines are environment friendly and converting waste into energy.
