Of course, the invariable question arises: is USANA a scam? It would be nice to be able to easily answer that question but unfortunately that is impossible to do. It seems that there is a wide variety of opinions of this network marketing business opportunity and of network marketing in general.
In the final analysis, it is matter of perspective. For those who succeed at this business, it is definitely not a scam. Their view is that it is a profitable business enterprise that gives the entrepreneur financial independence. For those who fail at this business, to them it may feel like a scam. It is human nature to blame our failures on others and to avoid taking personal responsibility for our short comings. Perhaps, the basic problem is that not everyone is cut out to be in business for themselves.

On the surface USANA is no different than the hundreds of multilevel marketing companies that our inundates our society. There are many companies similar to USANA, selling the same type of products, offering the same king of business opportunity. For an outsider, it is difficult to tell one company from another. Without actually becoming a distributor for any of these types of network marketing companies it is impossible to make a judgment.
There are some steps you can take to research this company. The first step would be to visit the official company internet web site. On their web site you can read about the founders and the history of the company. You will find information about their product line and compensation plan.
Your next step should be to use the major search engines to research other people’s experience with the company. You may be able to find articles about the company in business magazines, newspapers, blogs and online forums. Search for comments from people who have had experiences with the company. You should keep in mind that overly negative or positive comments may be a part of the commentator’s agenda. Still you may glean some valuable information from these internet searches.
You can also use the major search engines to search for comments about the companies. You can read others peoples’ opinions and experiences with the company. Of course, you may have to take any opinion with a grain of salt. People who comment about multilevel marketing businesses may have an ulterior motive.
What Does Building a USANA Business Entail?
Running your own business is always hard work. It requires persistence and dedication. Ignore those trying to sell you something and describe a business like this as being easy to run in your spare time. If you are unable to accept the fact that this is hard work then you should not give up your current job.
