These systems are made by air handling units manufactures and are widely used in commercial establishments such as malls, hotels and production units such as workshops and factories. The entire air handling unit is made out of different components. The air filter is used to clean the air of any dust or other particles which contaminate the air. The humidifier controls the levels of humidity in the air. This is needed especially in dry regions. The heating and cooling coils control the temperature of the air according to what is required. The mixing box is where the outside air mixes with the return air so that the optimum proportion of air can be circulated. The blower is used to circulate the air through the ducts. The housing unit is where the components are all assembled in one place. There are different kinds of housing units available with Manufacturers of air handling unit.

There are two types of air handling units available, the draw through type and the blow through type. You can get the two types with any air handling unit supplier.
