Uses of Insulated Panels in advanced prefab constructions

by Rinac India Rinac India Limited
Pre-fab construction prefers to the practice of fabricating the components of a structure together inside a factory or other manufacturing spots. After assembling of components completed, it is transferred to the construction site, where the structure is to be located. Some times sub-assemblies or basic materials are also transported to the construction site where all assemblies are assembled together.

The term prefabrication can also be used to the manufacturing of goods other than structures at a fixed spot. It is used most frequently when a fabricated section of any movable structure is shifted from manufacturing location to any other locations and also the section is supplied assembled. Prefabrication doesn't refers to electrical components of machines.

Insulated panels is one of the widely used basic material in prefab constructions. These are also known as SIP(Structural Insulated Panel), which is a complex building material. The construction of these panel is as follow: the panel is constructed of three layers. The outer two layers are may be a board of plywood, magnesium oxide, metal or cement and the core is may be made up of polystyrene foam or other foams. In prefab constructions these panels are used in many applications, such as foundation systems, floor, exterior walls, roofs, etc.
