The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamic Shiksha Parishad or Uttar Pradesh Board Secondary and Intermediate Education were established in 1921 and it is the only well-known board in Uttar Pradesh. Approximately, 25.95 lakh candidates are expected to appear for 12th examination while 33.56 lakh students will take the high school examination. The total number of candidates appearing for the UP Board exam has yet declined from previous years and has this year fallen short by 64,665.
