The battery charger fast chargingby Shulan Xiao autoboss scanner
I haven't used one of these before but decided to purchase one as a back up Ipad external battery charger since the power goes out in the northeast intermittently in the winter. The unit came partially charged out of the box and it fully charged in about two hours. I have used it several times to charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 in order to give it a workout before the return window with Amazon closed; Lumsing also provides an 12month warranty. So far so good.
The unit does not warm to the touch when charging and has successfully charged my phone without incident. It is somewhat heavy and has a glossy finish. Someone commented on finger prints but I've found that they wipe off easily with a cloth. The kit comes with power cord and a double layered net storage bag. There are three indicator lights on the top left hand corner to let you know the % of charge remaining. The unit itself is approx 6 1/2 X 3 1/2. I have not yet had to charge the battery pack again but it would probably be prudent to top it off with the winter upon us.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Lumsing and this product. This is actually the second Lumsing external battery I've bought. (I also have a lower capacity one). I bought this because I was going on a trip to Europe and I thought the higher capacity would be beneficial on the long plane rides and so I wouldn't be reliant on an outlet if i didn't have my converter with me. It was amazing. It got me through a 10 hour plane ride with absolutely no problems. I have dealt with Lumsing's customer support after my first battery started acting weird (it was their first generation, they've since made major upgrades to their design) and they sent me a new one right away, with no hassle. From that point on I decided I would trust Lumsing and have told many people about how amazing their products are. If you are looking for a reliable external battery pack backup charger that is surprisingly inexpensive, choose this one.
