The SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level written test is an objective type examination conducted for the posts of Lower Division Clerk and Data Entry operators in various govt. ministries / dept.   • The SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Written test is an objective type examination which consists of 200 questions which are to be attempted in duration of 2 hours.

  • There are four sections in the written paper which are Reasoning, General knowledge, English and Quantitative aptitude.

  • Each section consists of 50 questions.

  • There is a negative marking of ¼ applies for each 1 mark question for wrong answer given.

  • The difficulty level of the questions is lesser than that of other graduate level competitive exams. But thousands of applicants take the exam so the competition is tough.

  • The candidate must have a good speed and an ability to write accurate answers to clear the exam successfully.

  • There has to be an efficient use of time as well as there are 200 questions to be answered within a span of 3 hours.
