Radiation therapy is also used with chemotherapy and surgery therapy under cancer specialist physician. Most of the time radiation therapy is used at where another treatment is not a success. During treatment time always in mind provide only sufficient radiation otherwise radiation therapy has side-effect also.

Radiotherapy is used for many types of cancer, such as Brain cancer, Lung cancer, Skin cancer, Breast cancer, Spine cancer, uterus cancer, prostate cancer and much more. Methods of Radiation therapy-

External therapy – External therapy is mainly used with surgery therapy and primary stage of brain cancer. In this method patient no need to stay in the hospital.

Internal therapy – Internal therapy use at where affected area is much closer to healthy part.

Systemic therapy – Systematic therapy, in this method oncologist use radiation to insert in the body for treatment or kill cancer cells.

In External method no need to stay in hospital but in the internal method you should to stay in the hospital if needed. Radiation therapy is a modern technique for cancer treatment but also with that they have many side-effects of treatment so always get treatment under of cancer specialist.
