Oktoberfest '16 - Beer festival | 7 Degrees Brauhaus Gurgaon

7 Degrees Brauhaus is the only German microbrewery in Delhi - NCR serving authentic German & Global cuisines accompanied with freshly brewed German beer. And also, the only microbrewery in India to celebrate the full-fledged Oktoberfest every year.

What is Oktoberfest, you ask? Well, it’s a 16-day day carnival filled with authentic German brews, global cuisines, live music & drinking games - all under one roof! It’s not just a food & brew festival but a HUGE celebration as the entire brewery is decorated beautifully with Bavarian colours, signifying the tradition of the original Munich festival.

On 17th September, it was the inaugural day of the 5th Oktoberfest celebrations at 7 Degrees Brauhaus. And boy, what a opening night that was! The entire place was decorated to give you a feel and the experience of what it feels like to be present at the original Oktoberfest in Munich, being true to their tagline - “Munich is closer than you think…”

As soon as the honorary ambassador of the German embassy opened the first tap, as is tradition, and yelled the words “O ‘Zapft Is”, it was time for some freshly brewed German beer! The entire place lit up as ‘Mrigya’, the renowned world-ethnic fusion band had come to perform while everyone present was rejoicing & relishing this amazing ambience with their Beer mugs!

The food at 7 Degrees Brauhaus has always been good but since this was Oktoberfest, their trademark festival, it just had to be special! The chef made sure that every traditional German delicacy was prepared and prepared scrumptiously! The pretzels, sausages, pork knuckles and just about everything was inch perfect in taste while the brewmaster delivered his promise by providing the best Oktoberfest Beer (named Terminator) in Delhi-NCR!

All in all, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. And guess what, if you’ve missed the opening day, don’t worry as the festival ends on 3rd October and you should have plenty of time to plan with your friends. And with their signature events - RetroNation (30th Sept) & Bismil (live band on 1st October) coming up, you still have a lot to look forward to at 7 Degrees Brauhaus during their amazing Oktoberfest ’16!
