Motherhood is an emotion that fills every woman’s heart with utmost delight. These days most mothers are working professionals and maternity leave only begins during the last couple of months before child birth. During this phase, every woman is worried about buying suitable maternity clothes which will accommodate them well.
The first three to four months, a woman can continue to wear her usual clothes as during this time there are minimal or no external body modifications. Wearing a little lose clothes would make them feel comfortable. However, these three to four months the body goes through major external changes. The weight begins to increase and since the baby starts to grow inside, it becomes difficult to fit into old pants, tunics and skirts. This is the time to shop for Pregnancy wear. For some, it may be depressing to be unable to fit into their older beautiful clothes, but, with more and more clothing companies designing gorgeous clothing for pregnant women, it is not a hassle anymore. Being a mother is a blessing and that is how you should feel every moment of the phase and be able to enjoy your pregnancy as much as possible. Looking good during this time keeps you happy and cheerful. Throughout this period, it is wise to purchase a few pants and skirts which have elastic as buttoned clothes will become useless due to the changes that your body will go through as you proceed further into your pregnancy. Shop for trendy maternity clothes comprising of bright single colored tunics especially made for the expecting mothers. Try to avoid dresses which are above the knee as they may indicate the swelling in your legs which is common during pregnancy.
Your pregnancy wear must include a few loose shirts or long cardigans which can be easily teamed up with comfortable stretchy yoga pants. Though this may not be a good outfit for a business meeting but you may buy the thick yoga pants and pair them with colorful long tunics and make it perfect for Fridays or weekend jaunts.
Though it may sound strange but it is a good idea to get in touch with any of your friends, colleagues or family members who have been recently blessed with a child and borrow some clothes from them. It may save you from spending money and time shopping for clothes which may not be of much use after the child’s birth.
