by Jerrod G. Laptopsnatteru

The MacBook Pro 15 Battery series is a wide range of batteries like the MacBook Pro 15 unibody battery, A1281, MacBook pro 15 2009 battery among many other versions. The battery is a lithium-polymer type fully rechargeable with a voltage of 10.8V, 5800mAh capacity, and a watt hour of about 62wHr. It comes with a warranty of one year to give customers a chance to test its ability and in case it fails, it may be exchanged with a new one but this is a very rare occasion since all batteries are made to meet high quality standards. The battery is silver in colour and comes with six cells.

The battery for MacBook Pro 15 is very simple to install and calibrate. Furthermore, the battery features an integrated charger indicator LED light which indicates its current charger capacity. All MacBook batteries are compatible with one another. This element of versatility makes it easier to replace any with another one in case you fail to get the battery for a specific MacBook 15 series type.

MacBook Pro 15 Battery Calibration

The following steps are recommended while calibrating a battery:

· Charge your battery fully by connecting it to a power source. If it’s full, the LED on the adapter will change to green. Furthermore, the onscreen meter in the menu bar should indicate that the battery is fully charged.

· The battery should be allowed to rest for a minimum of two hours before using the computer .While using the computer, ensure that MacBook Pro 15 adapter is plugged in.

· Disconnect the computer’s power adapter and drain the battery until a battery warning dialog appears on the computer’s screen indicating the battery is very low.

· Keep on using the computer till it automatically goes to sleep.

· Allow the computer to sleep for a minimum of five hours without connecting it to the power adapter.

· At this time, Connect your MacBook 15 series to the MacBook Pro 15 adapter and use normally since the calibration is over.

Checking Your Battery’s Cycles and Life

There are several ways in which you can check your MacBook’s Pro 15 Battery condition. You may click on the icon on the menu bar of OS X which shows you the time remaining for the MacBook battery to either fully charge or discharge depending on whether you are charging or not. A battery percentage can also be shown by clicking the same icon.
