Empowr: Breaking the Cycle

When you hear about people suffering from poverty all of the world, it is troubling. No one should have to live this kind of life. Struggling working a minimum wage job just to keep your lights on is scary. You are pretty much sitting there hoping and praying that you do not get a disconnection notice in the mail. What makes it even more terrible is most of these people have kids. This is no way for them to live or grow up to become productive members of society.

This terrible, vicious cycle can be stopped. That is why the Empowr social network began their mission to end poverty many years ago, when they first learned that over half the world’s population (3.5 billion people) currently live on less than $4 per day. Through their social platform, people are able to earn money based on the knowledge they share with others. Empowr is striving to build a way for those people to be able to earn at least 25 dollars a day, and, therefore, live a better life.

What is Empowr?

Their main goal is to look out for you. They are a social media site that promotes democracy throughout the company. They are the only social media company that shares their profits with the users. They work very hard to make sure the American dream is obtainable no matter where you live. People often have to make it through the agricultural and industrial stages of their country to succeed. Empowr is changing that by skipping those two stages and going right for the knowledge stage.

Empowr employees understand that you do not want to see your information traded off to third party investors, just to see a functioning site. Because of that, the staff at Empowr has built a social media site for the people, by the people. This corporation is one of the few companies that let their users pick the President of the company. This is crucial in today’s society. The users should be able to elect their idea of the perfect President, not one that is solely focused on making the company money while leaving users in the dark.

They have put the future of the company in the hands of the consumers. Any change that is made to the website is based on the representation of users via the President and representatives. No other social media site offers such a caring system where the people come in as number one in the list of priorities.

David A.  Just here to read With Empowr, it sounds like I can start making a decent living once again. I haven't had a decent job in some time and to me, Empowr sounds like a great service worth checking out. Plus, seeing that the company is controlled by the users instead of some corporation or something. Jun 19th 2014 16:49
