Amazon.com Reinvents Online Web Sevices By Announcing Amazon QuickSight

Amazon Quicksight is launched for non-technical users, which is simple and fast in use due to its engine partnership with Accenture.

Amazon is making changes in its online web services. To make these customizations to the product, the company is firstly collaborating with Accenture (business services), and secondly, updating the services and hardware for more security and reliability according to the company.

Originally launched in 2006, the Amazon web services provides the business freedom to other companies that want innovation for developers to build software without restrictions, so that they proceed regardless of regulations that effect traditional IT, said Andy Jassy, Chief of AWS cloud. At the end, it is about freedom and control over what one wants to build and is destined to make. He discussed with his customers, analysts, member, and partners at the Sands Convention and Expo.

The new feature that the online retail chain is launching is related to cloud computing. Known by the name, ‘Amazon QuickSight’ is going to be cloud-powered business intelligence service. This feature is in process so that even the employees, who are not tech-savvy, can access business insights from the company’s data easily and quickly.

The feature uses and engine that is extremely fast in advanced calculations that bring the results rapidly. It automatically connects with Amazon web services data. User can buy the feature at $9.00 per month.

Quicksight is constructed to solve issues because the results that the interfaces show do not meet the expectations showing the users limited reports and complex to use.

Amazon Quicksight’s aim is resolve such issues through its flexibility and easy to use interface. When the user logs in, the product will automatically find their data sets stored in amazon web services, such as Amazon RDSAmazon prime time, Amazon simple storage service, Amazon Kinesis, etc. Users can get data in minutes.

AWS is also providing schema conversion tool, which would assist business consumers to switch from one database to another database engine easily. The company is aiming to serve its customers everything by making these changes in their system from these newly launched products. 

AWS Snowball is another appliance that is manufactured to transfer petabyte-scale data securely; it can transfer 50 terabytes per appliance per time of data into and out of AWS. The Accenture business group’s role is to bring professionals together to assist users to move to AWS cloud, which explains the collaboration with this business, according to digital news Asia.

The executives and the board are positive about AWS stating that without it, this would never have been possible for company to innovate and bring the products in market in a cost-effective manner that is required.
