Stiforp Profits
Jun 16 2013 21:48 Stiforp is an MLM or Multi Level Marketing program (often referred to
as a pyramid scheme). The whole goal of these schemes is to entice
users in with the promise of making money without doing the hard work.
“In fact, you can earn up to $2,047.50 per MONTH without ever enrolling a single person!”
What? I join, pay my monthly fee and earn money? Sounds awesome!
Things are never that easy though.
What Exactly is a Pyramid Scheme?
The whole reason MLM got given the term pyramid scheme is because of
the way the payment system works. You invite or recruit members and earn
some money. Those members in turn recruit more members each and
you earn some of the money from them as well, although less.
On and on it goes spreading out, with you at the top, into a pyramid type shape.
The system behind this is often called a matrix.
First off, let’s look at Stiforp’s “matrix”, and you will see how this super simple system explains exactly how you earn money.Isn’t that simple? Figuring out this complicated system which seems to shift weekly will take you a while.
Earning the amazing $2047.50 per month will take you a lot longer.
You see, in order to earn more than your $9.95 a month fee, you need
to recruit people into the system as well. The reason for this is that
the supposed $2000+ a month amount can only be made if your matrix is
filled up, and that is randomly done.
In fact I am not even sure they do it at all, there is no evidence or
documentation detailing this process, and you simply have to take them
at their word.
Did I tell you that they have no contact or business details on their site?
Anyway, just like a pyramid these people cascade down underneath you, each giving you a speck of money.
In fact the first 3 people will earn you $4. Oh and that’s not per month, that’s a one off amount, which is pretty rubbish.
Not only that but one thing they fail to mention on their site is
that even though there may be 16,165 or however many people below you in
the “matrix”, it is not a guarantee that you will be paid for every
single one of them. Or even get paid for one of them…
Products & Recruiting
In order to get people into the scheme, there has to be an incentive.
Often it is a tangible product, but in the case of Stiforp they don’t
even have that.
They offer online marketing tools as a part of the monthly package.
These tools are supposedly there to help you improve and market your own
business, but really they are there to help you recruit more people to
the scheme, because without people recruited in the scheme below you, no
money can be made at the top.
What Do They Offer?
Flash presentations – four basic, generic flash
presentations. Perhaps in some situations these could be OK, but as they
can be used for pretty much any online business they are too generic to
actually be useful.Video spokesperson – this is the same thing as the
flash videos, because they need to be used anywhere and there are only
three, there cookie cutter that they become almost useless.Lead capture pages – host (with Stiforp) 3 lead capture pages, out of a choice of 10 simple single page pre made sites.Autoresponder – a system where emails will be sent out automatically to people who sign up with their email address. It even says “STIFORP is already loaded with highly responsive generic follow up messages”. Generic again… The autoresponder also can’t be used outside of the recruiting people into the system.Phone Burner – this one caught my attention, and
screamed scam! The so called phone burner, or automated dialler,
basically rings through phone numbers so you don’t have to. These are
commonly used by cold call salespeople. In fact this aspect reinforces
that, though these products are mentioned in a way that they can help
you grow your online business, it is really geared at getting more
people into the scheme.
There are some other products as well, but the general thing here is
that these are made to impress but really they have very little value or
flexibility. These products are purely designed to get new recruits in,
not to help your own particular online business and certainly not to
help create one.
The fact that the videos are not industry specific in any way is not
good for a business especially in the modern age where branding is key.
Oh and if you end up using the pre made sites, you will have fun.
Google hates cookie cutter type sites and will severely penalise you for
it, and there is no way to modify these templates, so it is doubtful
they will even get anywhere in the search engines to be found.
If you rely on these tools, rather than a well-known service
provider, such as Aweber for autoresponders, or a proper website, then
you are taking on a big risk. Pyramid schemes are well known to
collapse.
Who Do You Recruit?
Getting customers to any business no matter if it is legitimate or
not is always hard, and recruiting people into Stiforp is no different.
Most people getting into the scheme will have no clue about where to
go and how to recruit, so they end up spamming, and cold calling people,
often beginning with friends and family.
The truth is, most people who join up to a scheme like Stiforp end up
quitting, so you would end up just giving Stiforp some free cash, and
that’s the beauty of this scam, no one really earns the big bucks except
the owners.
The Cost.
It will cost you $9.95 a month, oh and a $40 one off signing up fee
of course. This is on top of the fact that you have no guarantee of
making money back from the matrix. The only way to do it would be to
recruit people into the scheme and get the sign up bonuses, and even
then the system is set up in a way that you will continually have to
recruit new members to try and make your money back and a profit.
There is a simple rule with pyramid schemes: if you did not set it up, you are not going to make any money.
The Bottom Line
Let’s look at the FTC’s definition of a pyramid scheme..
Pyramid schemes now come in so many forms that they may
be difficult to recognize immediately. However, they all share one
overriding characteristic. They promise consumers or investors large
profits based primarily on recruiting others to join their program, not
based on profits from any real investment or real sale of goods to the
public. Some schemes may purport to sell a product, but they often
simply use the product to hide their pyramid structure.
Does this ring any bells?
Stiforp is without a doubt a pyramid scheme, and one that looks
likely to suck your money out of your pocket rather than fill it up,
which is rather ironic for a company whose name is actually the word
profits backwards.
Some people may say that $9.95 a month is great for the products you
get. And yes if they were flexible and quality I would agree, but the
Stiforp products are not flexible. They are not quality.
The promise of money for nothing is key to Stiforp’s sales pitch, but
there is no money for nothing in the real world. Even with the holy
grail of Internet Marketing, you have to work, and work hard to get to
where you need to be, not just join some scheme.
This is one to avoid, really just don’t go there.
MLM is a risky business, and generally you will not earn your money back
and rarely will you even break even.
I HATE that I have to be so 'blunt' with you, but there is really only ONE place I recommend for making money online
