Pictured  is Alan's depiction of the iconic Tyneside skyline on the River Tyne which has now completely changed with demise of the Ship Building Industryon the Tyne and the demolition of the cranes.

Alan a self taught artist and has been painting for the last seven years or more, in Pastels, Oils, Acrylics and Watercolours and on a wide variety of subjects.

He has exhibited locally in the North East of England  and work has sold in Germany, Canada, Australia and The U.S.A.

He is a big supporter of the local Lifeboat Service  and often donates prints to raise money for the R.N.L.I.
