EAST PALO ALTO, California – October 27, 2010 – Self published Author, G. D. Grace releases the highly anticipated Season 3 of his Ripped & Ready series on LULUSeason 1 was released in January 2010 and Season 2 was released in February 2010, a month later.  Knights of Deception was his first novel released on LULU, and Dragged was his fourth.

The Ripped & Ready series began on a virtually unknown, but frequently visited blog for new writers called Story Alley back in October of 2009.  He wrote Ripped & Ready Season 1 and Dragged in their entirety on Story Alley, and upon completion he self-published and released them in print, removing chapters off of Story Alley.  During Season 2 of Ripped & Ready, he released ten chapters at a time for purchase on LULU and made them available as downloads – upon completion of Season 2; he released the entire project in print as he had done so with its predecessor, Season 1.  The marketing strategy for Season 2 made December 2009 and January 2010 the most successful sales months to date.  To visit Story Alley, go to this link: http://www.storyalley.com/

The Ripped & Ready series chronicles the lives of four, young, African American men, living in a small urban community in the San Francisco Bay Area.   Marco Thompson, D’Andre Washington, Todd Berry, and Collin Clarke are childhood friends who struggle with day to day dramas associated with family members and their lives become even more complicated as the deal with their sexualities as black men.  Marco and Todd identify themselves as Gay, while D’Andre and Collin slide in and out of the life, using the companionship of females to mask their homosexual activities.  The storyline intertwines the realities associated with street life, infidelity, romance, and substance abuse, as well as, a host of other life challenges and situations.
