Fiber reinforced plastic fan / FRP fan

Fiber-reinforced plastic is a thermosetting plastic which is having excellent material properties it is having very high strength to weight ration, it is highly corrosion resistance, lightweight as its density is only 1.7-2 g/cm3 this property make fiber very suitable for heavy-duty fan manufacturing at Maya we are making all kinds of fan in FRP material which include - Cooling tower fans (FRP is the best material for it as this fan operate in humid environments also this fan is having a large diameter which makes the metallic fan very heavy) Air coolie condenser fans (again this is a very large diameter fan which has to hang on a steel structure at a very height so again fiber is considered very much suitable for the application ) Mine ventilation fan (we have made FRP mine ventilation fan of up to 450 kW power rating so it is very clear that FRP is suitable for the heavy-duty application) and many more many I time people is confused between FRP and GRP but both are same actually GRP is a more specific name of FRP as FRP is fiber-reinforced plastic whereas GRP is glass-reinforced plastic so it just makes the type of fiber specific as glass. all the FRP fans are having airfoil design, therefore, it is very high efficient and consumes much less power compared to conventional industrial fans. |
