The hardest part about Affiliate Marketing is promotion to get traffic to see your offers. Without traffic, your affiliate link and the product that it promotes are as good as dead.

You can get product to sell from www.clickbank.com or www.paydotcom.com or www.infosteals.com. Now how do you get the needed traffic to your links?

1.  Bum marketing or article marketing:  This involves writing articles about your niche and submitting them to article directories to enable search engines to pick them up thereby giving you the needed traffic.  You, however need to find long tail keywords and use them in your articles.

2.  Blogging and Pinging:  A blog is a little web space you can call your own.  It is like an online diary where you can put anything that interests you.  Free blogs include www.wordpress.com and www.blogger.com among many others.

3.  Email Marketing:  This is a powerful way to promote your affiliate offers. Such offers are sent to your prospects in your email lists.

4. Squidoo and Hubpages:  Squidoo lets create webpage called "lens" where you can write about anything.  It is a perfect place for anyone who has no website to load up contents and present their offers.  Hubpages is very much like squidoo. It is also free to join and you can make as many pages as you like.  The search engines love it too.

5.  Social video Marketing.  You can join Youtube for free and upload relevant videos to drive traffic to to your affiliate offers.

6.  Online forums and social Networking Site Marketing: Almost all niches have forums where members interract.  In such forums, you can feel the needs of people and meet them.  Forums allow you to have personalized signature that actually link back to your affiliate offers or website.  Social networking sites are the in-thing in present times.  Such sites include Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.

7.  Traffic Exchanges:  They are the one of the fastest and easiest ways to get free traffic and advertising to your affiliate links. They operate based on the simple concept of "I'll look at your website if you look at mine."  It works on credit system.  The more credit you have, the more websites you can surf and the more you surf, the greater exposure your own affiliate link will receive.

8. Classified Ads: According to business dictionary, are small messages grouped under a specific heading such as automobiles, employment, real estate in a separate section of a newspaper or magazine.  These relatively inepensive ads are usually a clumn wide, do not include any graphics, and are typeset by the printer or publisher of the publication. Classified ads have also become very popular in internet marketing. Most sites display ads in little spaces that draw attention to product offers.
