Good Day, I am Jacqueline Taylor-Adams, a marketing (referring to the applied science of consumer behavior) geek, idea person, and lover of the arts. God has endowed me with a purpose of empowering my community via optimal thinking frames; the medium, the arts. Using my gifts and talents of great business sense, systems development, and marketing, I work toward helping the African American arts markets to become more competitive. So, the gemini in me took the idea ego, paired it with my marketing ego, put on my cultural arts frame and poof -- out came, The Master Griot Project and the Black Business Space LIVE FANDOM Tour.

The Master Griot Project is a strategic marketing initiative to create a viable industry for spoken word. Currently, The Master Griot Project has joined the collaborative of the BBS Value Tour (www.bbsvaluetour.com) as a partner and sponsor.
"Changing linear public and industry perceptions of spoken word"
This historical tour will showcase four spoken word artists as part of a music and community service tour that hits 17 US major cities and Toronto, Canada. Spoken word artists and their works are also used in marketing, advertising, and in collaboration with other genre artists from filmmakers to dancers.

I grew up on oral history. Listening to the elders pass down knowledge and history. Sadly it's a disappearing thing to just sit and listen to the stories passed down in this manner. The spoken word is being replaced by modern conveniences, but it is an art that needs to be preserved. Kudos to you for being behind such an important effort!
