I was born in Invercargill, New Zealand in 1959. After spending eight years in the Royal New Zealand Air Force as a technician, I did a bone carving course at the Wanganui Summer School of the Arts under Owen Mapp. Then after doing a jewelry apprenticeship I moved to Queenstown in the South Island of New Zealand with my partner Toyoko on a 16 acre property where we have 11 chickens, 2 cats, 2 sheep and part time hedgehogs by the name of Harold and Hazel. By day I make jewelry and sell it locally to all the many tourists who come through this region.

I am also a keen photographer and have my photography for sale on Redbubble.
