Although I was born under a South African sun I am Scottish and have spent almost all my life in Scotland, growing up in Edinburgh. After leaving school and college, I joined the family pottery business eventually moving it up into Perthshire where I developed it into a major tourist attraction.
After 20 years was forced out by other family members who thought they knew better, they didn't, the business eventually closing after a further 12 years.
Went self employed for a time then was asked to join another company as Production Director, very successful for a while but a cash flow crisis closed it down. By this time I was also involved in network marketing so concentrated on that full time and now have the time to enjoy all that life offers.
