Anyone (individuals and businesses alike) can join the Botanoo.com system by registering through another Member’s replicated webpage, decide to participate in trading carbon credits, and profit from the scale of economics. Members from anywhere in the world can purchase business packages of EUR 400 or EUR 1,200 (or multiples thereof) from Botanoo.com.

Member funds are used to source and purchase high-quality certified marketable voluntary carbon credits from reputable suppliers (project developers). Credits purchased are registered with MarkIT, a London-based international organization that provides price transparency and financial infrastructure to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency, so every member and customer may rest assured that these credits are real and of high quality.

CC Denmark sells internal accounting units to new members. These units are locked up for three months, after which they can be converted into carbon credits at the prevailing conversion rate and sold on OurClimate.org, ready to launch early 2012, which is set to become the world’s leading multilingual voluntary carbon credit trading platform. The proceeds from the sale – after the deduction of sales commission – are credited to Botanoo.com members’ cash accounts.

In practice, the system is slightly more complex than that; for example, due to changes in the conversion rate between units and carbon credits, extra profits may be realized until some time in 2012. The point here is that timing is important: members who join earlier may enjoy greater profits.

The company rewards members who decide to promote the opportunity and introduce new members from anywhere in the world to the system. Commission is paid weekly using the highly successful ‘hybrid binary’ compensation system.
