Hello in "The Fitness Corner" !
For our group members celebrating the 4th of July holiday... here is a little tip to help you enjoy the holiday.
Exercise over the holidays:
Don't abandon your routine over the holidays. If you are tight for time, shorten your normal workout - but be sure to get it in.
Eat before you go out:
Going to a party on an empty stomach can make any and all food seem appetizing. Have a light snack before you go consisting of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. This will help remove the urge to overeat, avoid the buffet table.
Avoid alcohol:
Alcoholic drinks can contain from 100 -300 calories and may also cause you to overeat. As an alternative try non-alcoholic drinks or better yet...water!
Be sensible with your choices, enjoy and have a safe and happy holiday!
Yours in good health,
Bob Cater

Hello Bob,
Excellent tips, I try to drink a bottle of water before lunch and supper. I don't think this is good to do at breakfast.
I look forward to reading more of your tips.
Happy 4th,
Jeannette
