I am volunteer worker in a livelihood program in a community here in the Philippines. I have join the group hoping I can find or know a craft or hobby that can benefits poor people. Hoping to heat from anyone help. Thanks.

Thanks sis for replying.The manpower are inexperienced poor housewives living in depress areas here in Paranaque city, Philippines. Small funds will be requested and proposed, hoping, in the local government. The aim is to help them have small source of income. Giving their time value and at least small ease to poverty.

That is a good idea for uplifting poor people and that too women. I wish the community to get success.

For the crafts, select those which people are widely using there in your country, like bags, baskets, etc. Even the home made foods are a good home based business like making sauce thing which can be preserved and used even after long time.
