APSense is always on the move - positive moves that are impacting positively on the members.

Thanks, Wincer, for the very good additions and modifications. I am quite happy to belong to APSense.

Is that it, Wincer ? You told me the other day you work 24/7, now I don't believe you. I'm sure you took some time to eat. You can do it in front of your PC, you know. :)

I'm kidding, of course. I've never seen a site come up with so many improvements with only a month or so between new ones. And not little things either.

One suggestion : saving a draft version of our blogs. That would make my day.

@Sean LOL me too
@Wincer, I forgot to mention, I bookmarked the blog, tweeted and FBed. Since I mentioned in a blog this week to do these, I've never done it so often. :)

The changes are great however I have one serious problem that needs addressing. I believe that when someone signs up they should not be allowed to post anything until they have loaded their picture and it has been accepted AND the profile about me has been filled in and there needs to be a control so that they can not get away with posting fgrhjendffg etc.

I find it not acceptable that we are shown spotlight members with no picture and no bio filled in.

I agree with bj. Maybe a filter that won't allow showing when the bio says "I will fill bio later" ?

@bjantiques I Totally agree. I see also members who where last active in 2008 or something. Are they staying in APSense for ever if they remain inactive?

if they don't cancel their account yes i think so . but thats no different than for example Adlandpro claiming they have around 100.000 members I know for a fact there are only around 500 or so active members.

Good question, Paula. I can't see why not, but I don't own such a site as ApSense, so I don't know if it's a nuisance.

Chuck Bartok has been a member since the beginning in 2006. He came back when he saw how enthusiastic I was about ApSense. He hadn't left, just never visited for a long time, cause he said it had become a spamming place. He did say it's not the case anymore.

If ApSense deletes your account, and you have many blogs, RevPages, people in your network, I don't think it would be a good move to take the liberty of deleting an account, even if hasn't been active for a long time. You never know what might happen, the market changes, and Lord knows ApSense changes, for the better.

Thanks Wincer for all the hard work you and your team do, You must take a brake some time as well, all work and no play is not good for ones health.

@Paula, some of those old members would hopefully return, alot of the old members took the road when the spamming here was not controlled.

@Dawie Yes, my suggestion would be to wait a while since Apsense is now a rising star. And then after a period get rid of the ones which are at that time are still inactive

Hi Wincer, I love the improvements also. However I would have to support Philippe's suggestion to add the ability to save a draft of our blogs... I lost an almost completed article for my blog this week because my computer crashed right as I was almost finished ;-/ I probably type in Office first, and then copy/paste but when the creativity strikes, I just keep typing... Pretty Please! ;0)

I don't agree with deleting old accounts since it could be any number of reasons why those members haven't been online, or here at APSense. Plus if they've added really good content in the past, that will be lost as well. Perhaps you can send a mass email to those members and let them know that they have X amount of time to login and update their profile before deciding which direction to go in?

I support making it mandatory for members to upload a photo, and update their profile before posting.

Congratulations once more Wincer, keep up the great work. We appreciate it!
