The Back Link Club: Rules of Engagement And Other Marketing Tactics

In order to benefit from this club you must participate actively.
Participating actively does not mean devote your entire online
life to this club, but it does mean participating in the manner
described.

To rehash the requirements you agreed to when you signed up for
access to the Back Link:

Must have your own website, or blog.Must be willing to guest blog on fellow members blogs
It's a known fact that one way of getting your blog noticed is
to become a guest bloger on another's blog. Not only does it
afford you an opportunity to address a new audience, but if the
blog you?re guest writing for has a high rank and a bunch of
traffic, then your blog will instantly gain some much desired
Google cred or juice too.

The overall objective of the Back Link Club is to get every
member's blog to a PR6 or better. This is a process and if
you are someone that demands instant gratification, you are
in the wrong place. However, if you are serious minded, and
business oriented then you will no doubt already have a
business plan in place. If such is the case, you will be one
of the few to actually benefit from this venture. All that
you must then is modify or alter your business plan to include
back linking.

We are assuming that you have a blog. Preferably you will use
worpress, but blogger would do just as well. There are other
types of blogging software applications out there, but since
I use wordpress and Joesph uses blogger we will stick to these.
If you use Moveabletype or any other application I am pretty sure
that the principals laid out here will work just fine, but I can
not guarantee anything.

Now that we have the blog software issue out of the way, the first
step I want you to take is to visit ComLuv, register and download
ComLuv plugin. You can get it here, it's free and I will explain the
importance and significance of using this awesome plugin.

The way we are each going to support each other, in addition to
being guest bloggers on each others blog is to post comments.
Real comments, comments that have words not the one line "it's
nice, thank you" type that many post around here in Apsense.
In exchange, every single time you make a comment on one of
our blogs, or any blog that has the ComLuv plugin installed
you will instantly get "Comment Love" back in the form of a
back link. That means that as soon as you make a comment on
a blog, the last post you made to your own blog will
instantly be added to the blog you are commenting on.

Yes, that is why they call it, ComLuv.

Another plugin that we will be using is the "nofollow-case-by-case".
This may be new and strange to some, but I will explain quickly.
Whenever you link to another blog or website, especially if your
blog or site has a high ranking, you are transferring authority to it
its like a letter of recommendation or a saying I trust this site.
However, just as you are giving, or lending it authority by linking
to it you are decreasing your own authority. Since this is the case,
many bloggers and.or website use the "nofollow" rule. This can be
done via editing the .htaccess file or by adding the rule to
your site or blogs meta tags.

Basically what this rule is doing is telling the search engines not
to count or consider that link when they rate or rank your site or
blog. Sounds logical right? Well it's not. Linking is what makes the
internet, the very word mean "inter-connected". And, you will lose
much more by using the "no follow" rule than you actually gain. That
is not to say that there is no room for no follow, in fact there are
absolute times when you should, rather, must use the no-follow rule.

The no follow rule should be used on all affiliate links, on all ads,
including Adsense. Why should you give those sites your link juice?
You need to keep it for yourself. We will go into all of this more
as we begin the linking phase. But suffice it to say that this is
where use of the "nofollow-case-by-case plugin comes in handy.
(This goes to the question How many Links are to many on your webpage or blog).

BACK LINK CLUB GUEST BLOGGING GUIDELINES

We are going to create a network of professional, well
written highly traffic blogs. As such, when we guest blog
on each others sites, we will foster the air of professionalism
by adhering to a uniform set of rules that we each MUST follow.

1) Images: An image is to be used at the beginning of your blog post using  the center  alignment as follows,

Use an image with a width of 400px maximum. If the image is not
your, meaning you do not own it, please be sure to attribute the
images to the owner. Give credit where credit is due!

2) Headings: You should use tags for sub headings and tags for any subsequent headings.

Alrighty then! I have to do this on my home computer this weekend. I have no internet at home so I have to go to a place that has wifi to set it up bare with me. There are no bugs on this plug in, right? I might try to sneak a download on my work computer.

It sounds like this is going to be awesome.
