Fixed mindsets vs. growth mindsets.
Either we have a fixed mindset or a growth mindset.
This is one of the differences between the two mentalities.
"Reasons why" versus "reasons why not".
Fixed or fixed-growth mindsets look for "reasons not to," because an opportunity won't work for them.
But where did they get that mentality trait?
There is only one place: work.
If a person with a fixed mind hates his job, when a problem or challenge occurs, he is more than happy to say that he cannot move on. This means you won't have to work harder on a job you hate.
The growth mindset will look for solutions to the problem or challenge.
Maybe they enjoy their work more.
When we look for prospects in NWM, we look for dissatisfied people.
That is half of our mission.
But if they have a fixed mindset after years of job dissatisfaction, it can be difficult for them to quickly change a networker's thinking.
