The Story Behind LowCost-Webspace.

LowCost-Webspace is a small friendly independent company born out of the frustration of broken promises, poor service and a general lack of interest in our needs from the various companies we had our sites hosted with.

During our time of hosting our sites with various hosting companies, we found that they all had one thing in common - a severe lack of interest is us, their customers.

All they were really worried about was ensuring that we paid them on time. And yes, we realise that they were running a business, and having bills paid on time is an important part of that business. However, the single most important part of running a business is ensuring customers are happy with the service you provide!

Hi Monika & Wayne, Well its been a while since I made any posts apart from comments in other members threads although I am here all the time. But like Garnet in one of his threads says he has not been idle, and neither have I. Besides looking after our clients I am also working on re vamping sites that are in desperate need of face lifts, but I will save that for another post when they are done, Right now I am converting one from html/cgi/mysql into a php/mysql site to improve its efficiency.

Hi Garnet, Thank you. That is what I call a real testimonial. From the heart, short and sweet with no BS in it. It says more than all the obviously orchestrated testimonials you see on so many sites these days. Especially as it is from someone so many members know to be a real person and know wont post what they dont mean.

This is nice Bill. I do personally think the website layout needs a bit of a facelift with all the web 2.0 running around. But it is presentable. Looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi John, Couldnt agree more on that point. I am converting our MailBox Cleaner service sub domain at the moment and using it as the test bed for a new look. It will be a little while though as it was originally written in HTML/CGI/MySql and it will be in PHP/Mysql when I am finished. Although the color scheam will remain the same I am trying to get a new layout and look that will keep our open No BS style. I could have any fancy gizmo's I want on there and enough BS to choke a horse and be like all the rest with unattainable prommises but we absolutly refuse to be a part of the BS masses. I have always created sites with the object of making them as lean as possible in the coding so that they are efficient, and fast loading. This is one of the reasons I never use any form of page maker, as they pack out each page with masses of excesive code.
