What's the best way to promote on Apsense? |
|
Have you discovered a way to promote on a social networking website, like Apsense, that works for you?
Well, one that works for me is not to promote at all! Sure, I would love you to take a look at the hot business I am involved with. And I would love you to experience the team gel that we are creating. But if I lead with a "take a look at this" type introduction all I do is trigger the salesman alarm in your head. And once that happens... end of the line. As familiar as I am with all the modern technology and tools for marketing and building a business on the internet, I find myself returning to my traditional network marketing roots. And there is a basic fundamental that still holds true for new customers and distributors: "People decide to join you and not your business" And this is what Apsense and other social networking sites are all about. It's your opportunity to share something about yourself and not to promote your business. And you do so by posting blogs, by joining groups and posting subjects, by topping and commenting on the postings that other members of the Apsense community make. Call it interacting if you like, or sharing something about yourself... what you are actually doing is adding value to the community. And something magical happens when you add value... you create opportunities for everyone involved. In science (non)fiction terms it's the equivalent of opening up a new worm-hole. It's your opportunity to discover some more like-minded souls out there. And what do we instinctively do when we believe we have found a like-minded soul? We make the effort to find out more about that person. We read some of the other stuff he/she has posted. We take a look at their profile, we visit their groups. In short, we are interested in what they do and what they have to say... including whatever business they are involved with and the nature of the team they belong to. Anyway, this approach works for me. What works for you? Multi-Leverage Marketing... What Else? |

| Being a writer of course I like to WRITE! You opened up that can of worms!! LOL I love meeting people from different places. I think that within itself is such a valuable experience there is just no replacement for it. It opens up a persons eyes to how different people live and work. I like to have fun with telling people where I live. I live in Nashville. Right off the bat they think I live in Nashille, Tennessee!! Wrong! I live in Nashville, Arkansas. LOL It is a small town in the S. W. part of the state. We have chickens and chainsaws and almost 5,000 wonderful people. I love tidbits of information and one tidbit that many people do not realize is that there are five states in the U.S. that have a town named Nashville. How about that?!! I want to say Hi to Christopher too and tell him how proud I am of all of our men in uniform. Regardless of the cause, if it was not for the men and women in uniform and the sacrifice they make we would not have the great country we have today. Thank You. |

| I agree with you as wel lnaki! It seems like the more you throw your business at people, the more they avoid you! I had to learn that the hard way! If you come off like a friend and keep that repoire with them, eventually they'll feel safe enough to see what you have to offer.
Thanks for this posting as it's well needed! Kareema Z. Ratliff Kareema Z. Ratliff http://www.salespider.com/leads.php?l=1&id=2330801 |

| Great post, I need to remind myself this all the time. I end up posting about my business and what it has to offer. I do know exactly what your talking about, building relationships is the best way to go, but why do I keep doing the opposite?

| once you are in the 2.0 you are welcome to request contact with me.
We have a very good Administration team in 2.0 hand picked for their track record in Helping people and posting quality aricles as opposed, to ads. Just do the basics in your profile so you have access, then look around, again I emphasize BEFORE staring to post make sure you know what you can post where. This applies to EVERYONE. Then once you have seen how some of the well filled in profile shave been done you can go edit your own so it looks ok. Bj Bill Brown aka Bjantiques Hosting Skype bjantiques Group Administrator

| Thanks Bjantiques, those are usefull advice. But still I wonder how to make decent profile because in my experiences people sometimes get not too much impressive with the profile since the fact that all people need to be appear reasonably. The second, i've got to get my work very hard to put original article, but may be that's the challenge for me to do. For Community 2.0 I've love to join, and may be I need more assistant from you Bjantiques. http://fenkblog.apsense.com/ |

Firstly try filling out a decent profile. No one is prepared to do business with anyone that is not prepared to tell us about them. Secondly you need to post quality original articles not ads. thirdly go to Comunity 2.0 make sure you fill in a good profile there and then BEFORE you start posting go and read ALL the posts in the Tutorials section or better still go there and read BEFORE you sign in to it (use the id and password you use to log in here) http://home.apsense.com/topic.php?cate=17&page=&opt=&subtab=0&during=-1&type=0 (This link is allowed as it leads to the APSense 2.0 Tutorials and Admin posts not to personal posts) Bj Bill Brown aka Bjantiques Hosting Skype bjantiques Group Administrator
