Okay this is not directed to anyone in particular it is a general appeal. I am so tired of getting these so-called true e-mails with the order to "pass it on."
The latest offering is telling me not to buy Pepsi in the "new" cans. The same new cans I was being warned about in 2002. I am being urgently warned about dead internet sexual predators and told to pass it on to save the lives of my friends and families. Sounds like the plot of a bad Quinton Tarintino Movie I can't go to the mall because I will be robbed and left naked. And no one will notice a male leaving the dressing room/bathroom area with an armload of ladies clothes. Bill Gates has $1000 just waiting for me to forward and e-mail. Whoopee I can retire But then again I can just open or forward an e-mail for an amusing pop-up video. I am really going to do something to put myself at risk of enduring another annoying pop-up And it doesn't stop there now i get warnings about my health. If I refill that Dasani bottle, I will get cancer. More likely someone will miss out on the few cents it takes to make a new bottle My Mr Clean Magic Eraser contains Formaldehyde. Big deal that's reportedly one of the ingredients in the popular Korean liquor Soju( for that matter I drank enough of the stuff when I was over there to be well pickled today!) My lipstick contains lead. Now we know what happened to all that old crib paint! And so on...... Honestly two seconds on Snopes would really make a world of difference and save me the trouble of calling people idiots. Point to remember Just because it is on the internet does not automatically make it true! get protected before it happens to you |
