Mentor one on one and really help the Newbies |
|
Here's an idea, We don't get many questions here and with all of the Newbies signing on we don't get many new members.
Now as far as new members, whenever I get a new contact I invite them to the group to get their questions answered and to get help when they need it. But some people are shy. So Here's an idea, pick someone to mentor. Drop them a message and ask if they have any questions. Mentor one on one. This is a very effective way to help the newbies settle in around here. It also takes the pressure off of them. They may not want to post their question publicly but asking a mentor is much easier. For the newbies, if a member clicks with you ask them to be your mentor. The veterans have been around long enough to know what is going on and are more than happy to share their experience. They would not be here otherwise. get protected before it happens to you |
