Passive Income is the Best Kind |
|
There is little doubt that the one thing being sold on the internet, above everything else, is advertisting. Advertising is a HUGE industry. Some sites will share that revenue with their users, such as Apsense. They receive the income from Google for the google ads that are clicked on. They pay us, the content producers, everytime someone views our content. If you are producing content on other sites, your own or other blogs etc, you could be earning advertising dollars from Google too. Joel Comm is the leading Adsense expert. He has created products that will show the average person how to set up their sites to truly optimize for Adsense ads - and passive income. In my mind, passive income is the best kind of income! We all know that publishing online is necessary for creating our online presence, for developing a sphere of influence - so we're writing anyway! Why not earn some income from advertising? Passive income is the kind that you set and forget - do the work once and get paid over and over. I highly recommend Joel Comm's products for learning how to maximize your pages for advertising revenue. He teaches how to make money from both Adsense (Google ads) and Kontera (in context ads). You may see some Kontera ads on this page - in orange. This works much like Adsense, only your readers click on those hyperlinked words to view the ads.
You can watch Joel Comm's made for internet reality tv show, and/or check out all his products here: The Next Internet Millionaire Reality Show By the way, if you haven't been watching, you are really missing out on something HUGE. This reality show has created an incredible buzz online - the winner of the competition wins $25,000 in cash and an opportunity to do a joint venture with Joel Comm. Viewers get an opportunity to benefit too, by becoming an affiliate and profiting from this ingenius marketing scheme. Not only can you earn money that way, but you earn by learning from top experts in the industry. We know that the more you learn, the more you earn - and we also know that when it comes to learning it pays to learn from the best. Joel has brought together the best of the best. I hope you all check it out! Karen Weir Parenting Special Children |

| Yep, i agree with that Karen.
There are some very questionable sites with high PR, but if the PR is high - they are generally worth a second look to find those questionable things... I remember an email i got once that was offering me SEO help. I went to the site and it had no PR, I initially thought "Yeah right" and was going to navigate away then i saw a note that said that particular page was only for email marketing so was not meant to be picked up by Search Engines... I initially thought fair enough - done a google search and found the site was a scam. I must admit, since my PR has gone up on on several of my sites on the last update my traffic has increased and sales are up. I have otherwise done nothing exceptionally different. Eric J. | Absolutely Eric. As an example, I wouldn't trust a site that claims to be an expert in SEO with low or no PR, but niche blogs and articles that are well written and offer good information, are not dependent on high PR. There are some questionable characters out there who do have good PR too...

| While page rank doesn't guarantee traffic - It is a good measure of the quality and acceptability of a website. I often navigate away from sites that appear to be a couple of years old and have no or very low PR.
I build PR as a trust indicator more than a traffic indicator. Eric J. Smith Lifestyle Home Services Lifestyle Organics |

| Ok, you're right TRAFFIC is the word ;-) Not exposure, not page rank, but traffic, as for me all these words are refering to the same thing - bringing more visitors to your site. This is what we all need. There is also PPC, and if you have budget for this, it works great, but it's quite expensive... Rotradex.com |

| I didn't want to say only about Google page rank; what I ment is exposure, there are many other sites that count your exposures, search engine positions and page ranks on the Internet.

| Thanks Eric!
Agreed CoachTeo, you need to be getting enough traffic to make money with Adsense, but I disagree that you have have a high page rank. There are many other ways of getting traffic to blogs that have nothing to do with search engines. In order to make money in anything, you need traffic. I have had an adsense account for a while, but had no clue how to optimize for it until I started learning from Joel, and I'm seeing a steady increase in income. I'm not earning the hundreds per day yet, but I definately see that in my future! Karen Weir Parenting Special Children Group Administrator

| I make some passive cash from Google Adsense but you have to have enough traffic to your site and a good page rank. If people don't click you don't make money, so you need to have enough visitors expecting a percent of them will click on google ads. I do have few sites online with Adsense, but right now the only site a make real income from Google is www.associatedigest.com an article directory that have thousands of visitors daily. The others make few dollars per month only. So, you really need traffic to your site in order to benefit from advertising.
