Google eLert Example

 Mentors In Motion Marketing Team
This is an example of an eLert that I posted today. My rationale for sharing this with you is to show you how powerful eLerts can be. You can post whatever you like - articles, news items, anything you would send as an email, and even business presentations. Every post you create, generates an html page, complete with a indexable url and an RSS feed.

This is great Karen.
Now that I have been to your training,
I just might be able to figure it out.
Things sure go better with a bit of guidence.
That is what make this team concept so Wonderful.

Hi Brad,

I would be happy to do a training on this and intend to in the near future. Once you create a "gadget", you will see how many subscribers you have in your Publisher's Panel. You can create an unlimited number of "gadgets" that you then post eLerts to. You won't see who your subscribers are - that is the benefit to the end user. No requirement of giving up their contact info to receive your content. You put your contact info on your published content and allow them to contact you.

Every post generates an html page and is included in an RSS feed. You can "burn" the feed with feedburner and gather other stats there including feed subscribers, hits, and click throughs. If you need help getting set up between now and getting this on our training schedule, skype me and we'll get it done!

Ver cool, Karen. You need to do us a training on this, because I joined up, but don't have a clue as to what to do next. How do you guage traffic and/or readership?

Are you making what you're worth?
