As someone else says, depends on the results you're looking for. Just for example: FB is excellent for advertising your services/products with opening Fanpages, joining groups or creating events. All this activities drive traffic to your services/products. Smaller social networks, Apsense for example is useful for creating partnerships with same-minded enterpreneurs, so smaller networks are better for more personal contacts. Just my few cents, from my point of view.
