Don't just focus on talking about internet marketing with them. Talk about other things like family, hobbies, other interests etc. Building relationships should not only be business related. When they notice that yo are interested in those other things, they will want to learn more about you too... that will then lead to your business.

Be honest, is one key. We don't like being cheated by someone...(that's why we should never cheat someone else...:)..)
Be a good listener, listen for their opinion first, don't always dominate the conversation, otherwise your friend wont enjoy interaction. I love to have other's intention, but after that I must listen what they need. At a perfect time, show your excellencies..
Be a good assistance, help them first instead crying for help...:)
Be a good personality, charming and caring others. Being a role modal will perfectly improve your reputation....

You build a relationship about something the person online that was about their life child or hobby. Never just jump right in talking about your business. Take the time to be friendly, letting people know you are interested in them and not trying to get them to join your business
