What Is It?

PayBox is a new payment service that is being built from the ground up
in a grass-roots way. PayBox is developing an online currency and payment
processing service to make buying and selling online easier, more secure and
available to everyone.

We're designing our service with the help of a dedicated group of EarlyBird
users who are contributing ideas and feedback.

Stages of development planned to launch in 2011:

* Person-to-Person transactions.

* Small Business integration, including payment processing modules for all popular shopping cart software.

* Mid-sized Business integration.

* Major Online Store integration.

* Debit Card linked to your PayBox account.

* Currency exchange with all major world currencies.

I somehow don't think this is going to work it is going to cost a fortune to start and the payments are not secured so it dosen't really matter what they give you as you are having to wait untill this company becomes as big as Paypal not going to happen

Micheal Hayes' pointer "PayBox reveals its true motive" was enlightening. But for those who still feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel (and there are many I believe), just hang on but do not enrolled into anything that require monetary commitments.
Maybe at least wait until VirtaPay (as it is known now) open its doors to digital vendors, if it actually does so!
