How much does it cost?
To bid for work, register for FREE on Freelancer.com, or become a paid member and get additional benefits. When you receive and accept an offer you will be charged the following fee, depending on your membership type:
Free and Basic members pay $5 USD, or 10% of the total project cost, whichever is higher
Standard members pay $4 USD, or 5% of the total project cost, whichever is higher
Premium members pay $3 USD, or 3% of the total project cost, whichever is higher
Hourly Projects are only charged the percentage rates shown above, not the dollar amount.
Full-time Projects are only charged the above fees once the project value exceeds $5000 USD.
You can pay by Credit Card, Paypal, Skrill (formerly Moneybookers), WebMoney, Wire Transfer and money other regional banking methods.
Note: Australian members pay 10% GST on all fees

Be careful here. At least half of the projects posted here are scams and DO NOT pay you at all. Once you accept the job, freelancer.com takes their share of the money regardless if you get paid or not. You could be down hundreds of dollars before you even start your project JUST from accepting terms. Be careful, from experience of being scammed, proceed with caution if you EVER decide to pursue a job from this site.
