Earning credits at APSense just got a lot more exciting!

For those of you who are not familiar with the use of credits at APSense, we need them to create campaigns to promote content we create at APSense, like articles, RevPages, Brand Pages, even your profile, a group post, anything that appear under APSense.com.

Well, we now have a new, awesome way of getting credits: the Spotlight Campaigns!

Every time you log in or come back to your APSense homepage, you'll see a Spotlight Campaign at the top of the right sidebar.

You can't create a campaign that will appear there. It's an automatic process. What it does is choose quality content created or updated in the past 7 days, based on a number of criteria that won't be disclosed here.

The page chosen then gets a Spotlight Campaign that lasts 3 hours. We see the page title, the name of the member who created it, and the time left for the campaign.

We also see information about rewards. There are 500 credits offered at the start. Then, we "buy" tickets to participate. It doesn't cost money. A ticket is worth 20 credits, taken from your credit balance that you see at top left on your homepage. So, if you buy 5 tickets, and you had 1,000 credits in your balance, you now have 900 credits left.

At the end of the Spotlight campaign, winners are chosen among the members who bought tickets, and the final total reward is divided like this:

* 20% for the member who had his page chosen for the Spotlight campaign

* 35% to the grand prize winner

* 5% to 5 lucky members

So for example, if the total reward was 1,000 credits at the end of the Spotlight campaign, the page owner gets 200 credits, the grand prize winner gets 350 credits, the 5 lucky winners get 50 credits.
