I've really put it through its paces. I've had it just over a month and have on average walked 8km/day (that's 5 miles) in them. And it's been on varied surfaces, pavements, streets, cobbled paths, uneven grasslands. Never has it pinched or squeezed.

Colour preferences are subjective, but I'd still recommend the blue, it's quite versatile (worn them with jeans - dark and light blue, khakis, green and grey hiking trousers, running shorts).
