About 1 year ago, things were great with my girlfriend and I. We did everything together, we were all over each other. We had been together close to 3 years and I loved her 2 kids like they were my own, and they loved me like I was their father.

I was thinking I may have finally found the one, the person I was supposed to spend my life with. So I started saving for a ring and planning out how I was going to ask her to be my wife.
