Nice to find a music lover here. I and my husband are both amateur musicians in Holland. My husband plays trumpet and drums and I play saxophone (alt, tenor and baritone). It is our dream to open a cafe with live music in about 5 years in Turkey where we will live once my husband is retired.

Not many I guess. But the Turkish pop music is very nice because the rhythms are a bit different. And the have nice ballads from the Osmanians. And of course the traditional music the play at weddings (2 days!). I have also heard cover bands playing blues and oldies but it are the tourists mainly that appreciate that.
