For example, you share a video on your facebook wall and 25 watch it, 5 of them share it on their wall and 125 watch it. 25 of them share it, 625 watch it. 125 of them share it, 3,125 watch it. (At this point, you would see 3,900 views in your stats page even if only the first 25 were your direct contacts.) And this goes on and on.
