Review on Precor 9.27 treadmillI bought my 9.27 from Fitness Depot during their 'Boxing Week' sale. I am a tall guy with a big build, so I wanted a treadmill that could easily support my weight. I told the sales agent I wanted something sturdy, that could withstand the punishment I was planning on giving it (and myself) - preferably something made in the USA. He brought me straight to the Precor treadmills.
I couldn't be happier. After lugging it downstairs, I was confident that a machine this heavy was a quality machine! It only took 30 minutes to set it up.
I have been running 5k a day on it, everyday, and have even squeezed in a few 10k runs. I have dropped about 18lbs in 3 weeks. My time has dropped from 33mins/5k to 29mins/5k in this short time. I really like how sturdy the machine is, it doesn't wobble when I run on it.
I'd rather buy a quality machine for a little bit more money, than buy something that brakes or will rarely get used.
