Review on Positivity: Groundbreaking Research

What I wrote in the overview above, and the recommended features, it sounds like overhype, right? I mean, how could a book dare talk about research on positive thinking?

Well, read again. It's not quite positive thinking, it's "positivity".

Barbara Fredrickson is not a journalist, a psychologist, or a professional motivator.

As she says so herself in her book, she's a scientist. She works in a lab where they study emotions. That's right!

I could go on and on about the contents of the book. Instead, I just want to say that, contrary to classics like "Think and Grow Rich", where we must take the information at face value, "Positivity" is based on years of research in the relatively new field of positive psychology created by Martin Seligman, the famous author of "Learned Optimism".
