Review on Parents need a missing child kit!

No Parent wants to imagine the unthinkable, their child among the missing but it happens. Many organizations and agencies have taken steps to address the issue, Amber Alerts, and Code Adam are two programs that many people have heard of. Law Enforcement works closely with the National Center for Missing and exploited children, but there is something that every parent can do.

All parents should have a missing child kit for each of your children. This simple collection of information can help law enforcement move quickly in getting alerts issued to law enforcement officers locally and on a national level. But how do you create one? What should be in it? when should you update it?

This was some great information. I think all new parents should have this kind of kit. there are some crazy people out there these days and you never know when your child could go missing. having the right tools on hand can help police and others to help during the most crucial hrs

The biggest thing that abductors have told us that they hate is conflict. They hate when kids scream and yell. So you know what, (teach them to) scream and yell, kick, pinch, yell out, 'You're not my mom. You're not my dad. Someone please help me!!..

Parents should be teaching our children safety tips. That is wonderful for preventing a child from being taken but it won't help when the child is missing. Not all missing children are the result of abductions.

A child could get separated from his or her parents. And with older children they could very well be a runaway. No one snatched them but even runaways need to be found before the wrong people find them.
