This is a great product. I bought it a few weeks back to help break up some of the scar tissue in my Achilles from an old running injury - it's an awkward location for a foam roller. This roller stick works great for rolling it out. I have also been using it to roll out my quads and glutes, again with great results. I've used some of the other, more expensive, roller sticks in the past and honestly, this works just as well. It's small enough to pack in a duffel bag for a road trip. Totally recommend this.
