Review on Join Our Group To Fight Scams!

I will keep this short and sweet.

Online Scams is becoming a more serious issue not by the day but by the second.

According to statistics that was recently released by the FBI's internet crime division, for every legit website that gets launched 3 or more illegal SCAM sites are launched.

Now what does this spell for the future of the internet, Big Trouble. Crime syndicates and SCUMBAG SCAMMERS are taking over the place that we all love so much, and it is high time that we fight back.

The only way to fight back is through education, teaching each other what we know, and then go and teach others and spread the word.

The best Defence against being SCAMMED is prevention.

Join our Group and get your voice heard.

A RevPage about a subject where you're not selling anything. I never thought of doing that.

I hope this one gets a lot attention.

I will try to do the same from time to time. It takes longer than a blog to create, but I'm pretty convinced it will be most effective to get the message across.

Thumbs up, Dawie !

If I were you, I would edit the RevPage ASAP and write the words FREE TO JOIN in as big a font as possible. People are attracted to that word ( me included ) like a magnet.

I am a member of this group. It is very useful especially if you have little experience in working online. But also if you have been doing it longer and have been burned over and over again. In this group they post warnings about all types of scams. And most of all, if you pay attention you can develop skills yourself to recognize scam programs. This is very important! There are new scams online every single day and they can't warn you for all.

Very good point about developing skills to recognize scam programs, Paula. I hadn't thought of that, but it's true. Dawie and Andy are the people to follow in that department.

That is the main focus of our Group Paula, to educate people to do their own homework before signing up for every program they lay their eyes on.
@Philippe, thanks and done.

Hey I got to vote already have it!

Groups like this are a valuable and needed part of any network. The scammers are going to come and try to run their scams along with the gullible marks running these scams that just don't know any better. Groups like this one can save someone a great deal of heartache.

Like I said in a comment recently, "We can't save the world but we can save the odd individual" and that makes something like this worth the effort.

First logical step would be to educate about scams ,next should be to evolve a machanism and put it in place to bring the scammers to book including formulation of laws to deal with scammers but what even if people and big businesses go "broke' bringing in ruin and recession to the economy and the sharks go scot free! free?
Laudable attempt in formation of this group I am all for it and am happy to join the group where all the "big guns" of Apsense have actively supported and lended credence to the group
Best wishes for its growth!

This sounds like the group to join. Perhaps that's why I just did that.
Does anyone get the signal that an "opportunity" might be a scam if they mention an infinite payline or infinite wealth?
I always thought that that the world's population was finite, and it is also highly unlikely that every person in the world would sign to to an opportunity. Even then the wealth from that would be infinite as it would have to be shared by all members.
Wasn't it greed like that caused the GFC?

Thanks for all the great comments, and for those of you who signed up, A warm Welcome.

I see someone disliked this opportunity to get heard, must be one of the purveyers of what we are fighting against.

Oops! Missed a word above. ...the wealth from that would NOT be infinite....
Changes the whole meaning of the sentence!

@Dawie I was wondering how long it would be before a scammer/spammer showed up and checked the dislike option. And they checked dislike for one of two reasons:
You created a revpage promoting joining together to fight scams-that makes the scammer look bad.
OR
You created a revpage that was actual promotion and review not selling a damned thing with a cut and paste garbage ad-that makes the spammers look bad.

@Cheryl, i suppose it was just a matter of time before they showed up.
