Review on In Quest of the Deeper Self

The book is meant to be a wayside companion for those who feel that there is more to life than being just tied up with the daily rigmarole. It deals in detail with those items that make our minds noisy and alienate us from the deeper aspects of life. The suggested approach is free from DOs and DONTs. It focuses ones attention on the inwardly directed awareness with the effect that ones life is enriched progressively. There is freedom from falling a prey to the tyranny of thought as habit. The noisy mind slows down and inner quietude begins to establish itself. Such things as boredom, loneliness, anxiety about the future, persecution complex, residual anger etc begin to dissolve.
Life turns gradually to move into calm and yet vibrant waters, spreading happiness to all. Light-hearted attitudes play a role in the inner transformation and this is brought out with some examples. The movement of personal and planetary transformation are explored. On the whole, the spirit of Lokah Samastha Sukino Bhavanthu prevails in ones daily life bringing about a wholesome atmosphere for healthy and cheerful living.

The book is printed by Sudarsan Graphics, Chennai.
Cost of the book is Rs 280.
