Types of Camera :
There are many types of CCTV cameras, categorized by types of images, amounts of frames and types of connections.

Types of images:
They can take both black and white video images as well as color video images. They can also take low light images with special technology to capture video images at night.

Amount of frames:
means Frames per second that a video camera captures and sends to a recording device or monitor per second.
Most CCTV camera captures 30 or more frames per second.

Moreover, some CCTV cameras are extremely small those are used for spying, night viewing.

Types of connection:
Two types of connections can be used for CCTV cameras, one is wired connection and other is wireless connection.

Wired/ fixed connection will be physically connected with computer or recording devices. Mostly, there are in 25, 35, 50, 100 or 500 feet.

RG59 coaxial cable is used for distance upto 600 feet and CAT5 cable is used for distance between 600 feet to 2000 feet.
