Review on Have Your Own Video Sharing Site

I found this site by accident. I had been referred
to watch a video and after I had watched it, I
started just browsing the titles. One title was
African Music. I like African music and thought
I would watch it. It was truly one of the most
beautiful videos I have watched. The music was
original and it was married to some very enticing graphics. Definitely African. So I wanted to
leave a comment to the artists whom made it.

I had to sign-up before I could leave a comment.
I felt so strongly about the video that I did
sign up. Wow, I sure put my foot into something.
I found myself in the very core of a video world.
It was hooked up to all the main stream video
channels, but the twist was this is your video
channel. Heck, I just wanted to leave a comment,
but I am also very mindful of what videos can do
for website promotions and page rankings.

So I started looking around the site. I had just
signed up for my own Video Channel for real. As
soon as I picked a category the videos started
loading. It was a free account, but they gave me
a pro account so I could see the whole thing in
action. So here I am sitting with 1114 videos.
I started going through the videos. That is junk,
that looks good, junk, junk, good, good and so on.
It was fun. So then I decided I might as well
customize my web pages. I uploaded my personal website
logo and got to work.

Really, I had thought I would just use their widget
to put on my personal website, but heck this Video
Channel would add visibility to my web presence on
the Internet and who knows I might even pick up the
odd referral. They gave me my own referral link as
if you do not promote it nobody is every going to see
it. Well, I am doing that all the time, so what is
one more link?

This Is How It Works:

If you are a video maker, you want to know that you
can find an audience.

If you are a searcher, you do not want to have to
plough through piles of junk.

A Video Channel turns the power of your peers into
critical mass for you.

You make web video matter and it gives your
personal branding more prestige.

Did I mention you can post your AdSense Pub ID
to add to your AdSense revenue, OR, if you are
hooked up to your own personal advertising program
you can use that instead. I really think this can
work for me.

You can find your way around the site same as I did
if you want to go further. The category I am working
with is Internet - surprise!

I am still fiddling trying to make everything just
so. Come on and fiddle with me.
